How to unlock iPhone if you forgot your passcode? How to unlock iPhone if you forgot your password.

Hello. About a year ago, I got a completely locked Iphone 3g with firmware 4.2.1, which only offered emergency calls.
That's what happened to him. It was impossible even to use it somehow only to chop nuts.

I bought it for a penny at an American auction for tests and new experiences. It was written there for spare parts, but the phone itself turned on.

When I connected it to the computer, unfortunately I saw that it does not see it (I checked it on different Windows versions) and threw this iphone to gather dust in a dark place. And now, a year later, I decided to disassemble it, blow it out, fix the plumes.

And lo and behold - I connect it to a computer and it was determined by it. I was glad of this and immediately began to look in the search engine for unlocking the iphone 3g.

In this article, I will describe what difficulties I encountered, so that if you suddenly get this rarity, you can also cope with unlocking it. My task was to unlock it so that it would at least turn on to use it as an ipod for music and applications, but I completely unlocked it and now it's a good functional dialer.

Attention! This is not a manual for firmware and unlock. This is a personal experience and a description of the problems that I encountered. I advise you to use specialized resources if you don't understand something.

You will find all files and firmware in the search engine (if there are requests, I will add it)

So. We'll need

Iphone 3g 1 piece
Cord from iphone 1 piece.
program redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5(version not lower than this one)
iTunes- download on the official apple website.
Firmware iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw .
Common sense (optional)

So. First of all, we put the iphone into recovery mode. As I noticed there are several such modes, and if one of the stages is not entered correctly, it simply will not work.

When transferring, the device must be connected to the computer.
We translate like this.
Turn off the smartphone.
Hold down Home and Power button
- When we see an apple on the screen, release the power button but hold the Home button.
- When itunes is inscribed and a lace is drawn, you can release the button.

iTunes will detect your phone in recovery mode. Make sure to press the button Shift and press "Restore Iphone" and select downloaded in advance iPhone firmware 1.2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw . We are waiting for it to install, it will take a few minutes. When everything is installed, the device will reboot.
Next, you have to work with the program Redsnow. Difficulties have already arisen here (spent several hours parsing errors in parts, looking on the forums)

Firstly: if you have windows vista and above, right-click on the file redsnow.exe and go to the properties of the program. Go to the compatibility tab, check the "Run in compatibility mode for:" box and select windows xp service pack 3 and click apply.

After that, run the program with administrator rights. Click Browse and open the same firmware that was installed in itunes iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw. and press Next.
The settings selection window will appear. First of all, we need a Jailbreak, check the box Install Cydia. If you have the same locked brick as mine that nothing can be done, check the box Install Ipad Baseband to upgrade modem to 0.6.15. If you have a working iphone and you only need to jailbreak or unlock it to use SIM cards of any operator, then you do not need to install the Ipad Baseband, after that you will not be able to use official firmware.

Click next.
- Turn off the device. The cable must be connected.
- Get ready and click Next. Suggestions will be written to put the device into recovery mode. Do as written:
- Hold the power button for 3 seconds and a bullseye will appear.
- Without releasing it, press home button and hold for 10 seconds (the apple will disappear, the device will turn off but it should not be frightened).
- Release the power key but hold the Home key. When you see that the firmware has gone, you can release the home key. It remains to wait for everything to be established - 5 minutes.

Do not try to enter the device into recovery mode in other ways, otherwise nothing will simply be installed, you need to do exactly as described

.

The problems that I had.

If you have redsnow stuck on the process " Waiting for reboot" or "uploading ramdisk" .

Perhaps you did not enter the recovery mode correctly (it should be as described in redsnow and the article "I personally could not flash for a long time because I did not enter it correctly.
- Also try reconnecting the cable to the device.
- Disable antiviruses and firewalls.
- Try changing the usb port.
- Try from another computer.

Do the following:

Reload the program. Open the task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Escape), select the processes tab, check the "Display processes of all users" checkbox, right-click on the redsnow.exe process and choose to match. There, put a tick only on CPU 1.
And again, select the firmware and perform as needed. If it doesn't help, try starting windows in safe mode or try on another computer.

I didn't have any other problems.. After when Redsnow has done its job, the phone reboots and updates the system for several minutes. And now we're halfway there working iPhone 3. Go to Cydia, you will be prompted to install updates, make them mandatory.

Now we needed to unlock for any SIM card. This is done by installing a tweak Ultrasn0w.
First way.
- Go to Cydia.
- Select sources - Edit - Add.
- And add the ihacksrepo.com repository address, but I already had it in the default addresses.
- Install Ultrasnow from there.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me to install from there, I had to download the ultrasnow packages to the computer and throw them from the computer through file manager ifunbox.
The utility consists of two files
mobilesubstrate.deb and ultrasn0w_1.2.deb .

Go through the file manager along the path // private/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall
and put the file there mobilesubstrate.deb then restart your smartphone.
Then you throw it there ultrasn0w_1.2.deb and reboot again. Now it remains to reboot again and any SIM card will work.

How to throw games and applications through a computer.
For such purposes, you need appsync to your smartphone. Go to cydia, add to sources apt.alien.com and there you download the appsync utility for your IOS version.

So, after all this, I have a good dialer, although I think I will continue to experiment with it and check custom firmware for it.

iPhone 3g - multimedia designed Apple smartphone. It combines the functionality of an iPod (player), an Internet tablet and communicators, is controlled by Apple system iOS, which is optimized and simplified to run on mobile devices Mac OS X. A lot of users face the need to unlock the phone, read how to unlock iPhone 3G

The public around the world has long demanded this, considering the actions mobile operators illegal. but she is only partly right. Everyone forgets that operators subsidize production, thanks to which we have the opportunity to purchase the phone we need much cheaper than its price, it happens that the discount is half the cost or even more. Fee for a discount, binding to one operator, but it is difficult for us to accept and agree with this. Even if the operator we use suits us completely, we still strive to unlock our phone, perhaps the feeling of forced affection is unnatural for us. And what better way to start the year than with the Dev Team's latest creation, the (official) iPhone 3G Unlock Program. Let's get acquainted with all the features of this tool and take a closer look at how you can unlock and flash smartphone. Once unlocked, you will be able to use a wide range of selected third-party apps on your iPhone. And most importantly, you can choose any service provider mobile communications.

What is an unlock?
Imagine that after unlocking your phone can be used in the networks of any operators cellular communication, and not necessarily "AT&T". All you have to do is take out the AT&T SIM and put in the SIM alternative operator. But the truth is, the iPhone will not be able to do this in the usual way, you will need to perform some actions.

Can the phone fail in this case? It is safe?
There is always a possibility that the unlocking process will disable the phone (it's iron), in order to overcome a bad feeling, it remains only to read the reviews of people who have already gone through this procedure before. You need to follow all the instructions exactly, and the probability iPhone breakdowns decrease many times over! Later, after unlocking your phone, you'll need to be careful with iPhone updates. No need to select the update option in iTunes - you need to wait until the iPhone hackers release latest tools, which will allow you to re-perform this procedure on fresh firmware (respectively, they will be checked for safety).

Is flashing a phone difficult? Is it easy to do this?
Yes, very easy. It used to be a very difficult task, it's good that the situation has changed and programs with two or one buttons have appeared, which greatly simplified the flashing process. No need to worry. Now unlock iPhone phone available to anyone who wants to.

Is it easy to do? And How?
You can certainly find step-by-step instructions for unlocking a 3G device. Basically, unlocking a 3G iPhone is quite simple and needs a little space to describe the whole procedure in detail. Let's start.

№ 1 . You need to update your iPhone firmware to ver. 2.2.
The procedure itself is simple. You need to launch iTunes and update your phone's firmware to the latest version 2.2. You can do this by clicking the Update button. After completing this operation, proceed to the next step. Before the operation it is necessary to backup files of your device, you need to write down every note, program and settings that you want to save.

№ 2 . You need to use the Pwn program.
By downloading Quickpwn. With this application, you can flash your phone before unlocking it.
Connect your iPhone to the USB port personal computer running the program Quickpwn. This program does not require explanation, this is how such a firmware application should be. You need to select a phone type. Then select the firmware (it will appear naturally as soon as Update is done through iTunes. But if your firmware is not there, download it from the web). Install Installer or Cydia (their authors recommend the second program). Then follow the directions. You can drink coffee while the process is going on.

№ 3 . Then install the application bases.
If you decide to install Cydia, you need to run this application on your flashed iPhone, adding the following application database: apt9.yellowsn0w.com copy to address bar and go.
If you install installer, you need to add another application database: i.yellowsn0w.com also copy and download.

If you do not know how to add a database, you need to look in the settings menu or the parameters of both programs. And believe me, you will find what you need there.

№ 4 . You need to make the program yellowsn0w».
To install yellowsn0w, you should use the Installer or Cydia program. As soon as the server allows you to do this, launch the application. Then turn off the iPhone, remove the SIM card. Next, insert the SIM you are going to use. Turn on your iPhone. If, after a short wait, the name of the mobile operator does not appear on your screen, the process will have to be repeated. You need to remove the SIM card and try again.

№ 5 . Troubleshooting methods.
If you are going to switch to T-Mobile, you need in the settings to new SIM card(menu section > Networking - "Network"<) отключить режим 3G.
Disable the "PIN" check before inserting a new SIM.

“I forgot my iphone 4s, iphone 6, iphone 4, iphone 5s screen lock code…” is a common problem among those who have an Apple phone.

What to do when the lock code flew out of our head? If you don't remember the password or the device is locked, there are some easy ways to unlock it, although it has the best security system in mobile phones.

This became loudly known when agents from the FBI could not get to the data on the iPhone 5.

All the confusion came from a rather trivial iOS feature. After entering the security code ten times, the system automatically deletes all contents of the device.

This happens because there is no physical opportunity to read data from a locked iPhone.

If we are not FBI agents who have a huge budget and can contact a mysterious company that can bypass Apple's security, then we should conduct our business differently.

Some time ago in my guide I showed how to unlock any android - today I want to focus on another solution - how to unlock iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 7, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 6s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 10, iPhone 5s...?

It can be restored in several ways - official and ... less official.

This guide applies to the iPhone's lock screen, but it does not cover how to unlock if the screen is broken or if the screen does not work.

To unlock iCloud you need to go to another post - there I prepared 8 great tools - link in the last section of this post.

Unlock iPhone Screen with iTunes

If you used a smartphone before and connected it to iTunes on your computer, it's a simple matter.

To do this, connect the locked phone with a computer cable and turn on iTunes.

After the program detects your device, click the icon (top left) and select Restore iPhone.

Then you will have to wait. All data on the phone will be deleted and after the restart you will have to sign in again with your iCloud (Apple ID) account.

The iPhone lock screen passcode will disappear and you can set it again by going to your phone settings.

In this case, it is not worth restoring a backup as it will restore all previous settings, including the old phone or tablet screen lock code.

Unlock iPhone Screen Through Browser

How to unlock the iPhone screen if you have not connected it to a computer and you do not have it paired with iTunes?

There is a solution, only you must have an Apple ID, which is the email address and password that you entered into iCloud on your phone.

To get started, sign in to iCloud.com using the email address and password you used when you first started.

After logging in to the site, we will find the "Learn" icon - it will be in the lower right corner of the iCloud.com screen.

After opening it, you will need to enter the password again, and then your phone will be displayed on the map.

Now click the All Devices button at the top or if there is only one device, the device name is displayed at the top of the screen.

After selecting the phone, a window with options will appear in the upper right corner. Click here for a solution called "Dream iPhone".

As with restarting iTunes, the data on the phone will be deleted and the lock code will be removed.

Unlock iPhone Screen Through Safe Mode

The last solution is to put the phone into safe mode - recovery mode. This method will work if you haven't added or disabled an iCloud account on your iPhone and can't use iCloud.com right now.

In this case, turn on iTunes on the computer, and then connect the iPhone to the computer using a USB cable.

Then press the on/off button and the home button at the same time. Wait until the phone reboots. The recovery mode screen will appear on the screen.

Now release the buttons. iTunes will show a message: "iPhone encountered an issue that needed to be updated or reproduced."

If you want to restore your phone to its original settings and remove the screen lock code, click the "Restore" button and wait until all phone or tablet settings are deleted.

Once your phone has rebooted, you can create a new iCloud account to connect your device to. The phone lock code will also not be available.

What to do if you can't unlock your iPhone using the methods above

If none of the above methods worked for you, you still have (at least) 2 solutions.

The second solution is to describe your problem in detail in a comment in this text.

If possible, throw screenshots - it will be easier for me to help. I will try to answer your request as soon as possible. Good luck.

Greetings to all readers of the computer blog site! A friend of mine recently contacted me with a request to unlock the iPhone 5s. According to him, being in a state of intoxication, he put a password on the phone (from his girlfriend), and in the morning he could not remember it. After several unsuccessful passcode attempts, the iPhone was automatically locked.

When turned on, the display shows " iPhone disabled! Connect to iTunes." When connecting to a computer, the problem was not solved - a password was still required.

In this article, I will tell you how to unlock any Apple device - iPhone 4, 4s, 5s, 5, 6, 6s, 7, iPad, etc. We will remove the lock by flashing, i.e. Full reset of the phone to the "factory" state. iPhone firmware - the procedure is only seemingly complicated, but in reality it is quite simple, so do not rush to bring your phone to the service, but first try to do everything yourself.

Firmware will help solve any software problems with your phone. Essentially, we will do factory reset iPhone as if we had just bought it. I will warn you right away, we will need internet access.

I unlocked iPhone 5, model a1429, but firmware method is universal, and will work for all Apple devices - iPhone 4,5,6,7, and iPad.

Most often, this article is read by people who forgot the password on your phone. In such cases, the iPhone/iPad displays messages like: " iPhone is disabled. Connect to iTunes" or "Repeat after 24,000,000 minutes«.

However, you can try flashing your phone for any problems with your iPhone. For example, if your iPhone glitches, restarts, or won't boot or turn on at all- iPhone flashing can help you!

Alarm! When using this method, all information on your Apple device will be erased. Be careful, and if you still hope to remember the password, look for other ways to unlock it.

You do all the actions described below at your own peril and risk, and I am not responsible for a damaged phone. Fortunately, the procedure is standard, invented by Apple itself, so go ahead! 😉

I immediately upset those whose iPhone is tied to iCloud.

If there is no access to this iCloud, this method will not help you anyway. After the firmware, the phone will start asking for a password from iCloud. In this case, you can restore access to the phone only with the original box from this phone, as well as a cash receipt for it. All this will need to be sent to Apple, they will check the information and restore access to you.

If you don’t have a password or a check, alas, you have a brick. Well, you can change the motherboard, or sell the phone for spare parts, which is basically the same.

How to flash any Apple device - iPhone 4, 5s, 5, 6, 6s, 7, iPad? Step-by-step instruction.

To get started, you need download and install iTunes from the official apple website: apple.com/ru/itunes/download/

Installing iTunes should not be difficult for you, but, just in case, it is described in detail in video at the end of the article.

So, we have the program installed.

First we need to put the iPhone into recovery mode. It's very easy to do this:

Congratulations! You are logged in recovery mode!

Now we turn our attention to the laptop screen. iTunes should automatically launch. If it doesn't, start it manually. You will see a window asking you to restore or update your iPhone:

We press the button " Restore«.

Next, most likely, a window will pop up asking you to install the latest version of iOS. After clicking the "Restore and Update" button All data on your iPhone will be erased, then downloaded and installed the new iPhone software. We think, then we press this button.

This window may pop up:

The firmware download for the iPhone will begin from the Apple website. The download time depends on the speed of your internet connection. Download progress can be monitored by clicking the icon in the upper right corner:

After going through all the steps, on the iPhone you will see the welcome screen:

Hooray, our iPhone 5 is unlocked! It remains to insert a SIM card, and set it up as if you just bought it in a store!

iPhone is disabled. Connect to iTunes - how to unlock? [VIDEO]

I recommend watching the short video below. In it, I talk about the process of unlocking the iPhone 5 in as much detail as possible:

Do not forget subscribe to my YouTube channel!

Error 4013 when restoring iPhone.

If you read on, and do not rejoice at your “resurrected” phone, then something has not worked out for you. To be honest, it didn't go smoothly for me the first time. When you first try to restore an iPhone by flashing it, at the “Waiting for iPhone” stage An unknown error has occurred (4013):

“B.., well, what the f..?!” … "Great!" I thought. “When faced with a problem, I can warn my subscribers about it!” Started looking for a solution. The forums were full of advice of various kinds. A very popular option was Put your iPhone in the freezer and then flash it«:

I did not resort to such radical solutions as freezing someone else's device, and decided to first follow the recommendations from the official Apple website.

Apple technical support recommended 3 options when these errors appeared - install the latest Windows or Mac updates, change the USB cable (I also advise you to try plugging the device into a different USB port), or try restoring the iPhone on another computer:

Since I have a lot of different laptops at hand (), I decided to go the third way, especially since the first laptop had a “stripped down” Windows 7 due to the small amount of hard drive. Of course, without any updates.

What do you think - after starting the recovery procedure on another laptop, everything went well!

If you encounter any other errors when restoring your iPhone, take a look.

Most likely, you came to this page hoping to find a solution to unlock your iPhone. And it's good ... that you came to us. After all, the Internet is full of articles that not only mislead people, but at the same time try to impose someone's dubious services ... What exactly do you mean by unlocking? After all, the word unlock” can be applied to the iPhone in a variety of contexts. This may be a forgotten numeric password or a lock for a specific communication provider, or a lock via iCloud (Find iPhone service). The listed types of blocking have nothing to do with each other, so in each case, the actions should be correspondingly different. Today I will tell you how to unlock the iPhone in all of these situations.

Why is your iPhone locked?

Let's reiterate that the iPhone can be considered locked for various reasons. The very word " blocked” may mean different states of the iPhone. But I'm just sure that many users, finding themselves face to face with a problem device, try to find a solution on the Internet on request “ how to unlock iPhone”… It’s a pity that at the very top of the Google and Yandex search results at the moment there are sites that do not fully reveal this topic… I hope this article will fix everything.

So, I have identified three cases in which you may need to unlock your iPhone. Here they are:

1 Forgot numeric passcode for iPhone
2 Lock iPhone by mobile carrier
3 iCloud Activation Lock activated

Solve which of the problems is closer to yours and move on to solving your problem.

1 - Forgot numeric passcode for iPhone

A numeric passcode (4 or 6 digits) is set on the iPhone to protect your own data. If the password was forgotten or initially unknown, then access to information on the iPhone cannot be obtained. Remember the recent legal showdown between the FBI and Apple during the San Bernardino massacre investigation? Then Apple refused to provide the FBI with the means to unlock the terrorist's iPhone. Well, if the FBI can not get to the data hidden behind the password, then you are not destined. It follows that data from a password-protected iPhone can no longer be retrieved. Unless you made a backup beforehand. Despite this, You can still unlock your iPhone. To do this, you will have to erase all data from the device.(including a numeric password). Again, there are several options. How to do this in the instructions below.

There are at least three ways that will lead to a complete cleaning of the iPhone. First- using iTunes (provided that this iPhone has been previously synchronized with your computer). Second- through the Find My iPhone service on icloud.com (provided that you have access to the account that is registered in this iPhone). Third- through the recovery mode (no conditions are present). This is exactly the last way we will erase all the information on the iPhone.

Step 1 Connect your iPhone with a cable to your computer and launch iTunes.

Step 2 Hard reset your iPhone by holding down the HOME + POWER buttons at the same time. Do not release the buttons until the iTunes logo with a cable image is displayed on the iPhone screen. This will signal that recovery mode has been successfully activated on the iPhone.

Step 3 A window will appear on your computer screen asking you to restore/update your device. Select “ Restore” (Restore).

Step 4 iTunes will start downloading the latest version of iOS for your iPhone. On average, an iOS distribution takes up about 1.5 GB. If your Internet connection is slow, then the download process may take a long time. If the waiting time exceeds 15 minutes, iPhone will exit recovery mode and you will have to repeat steps 2 and 3.

After the restore process is complete, your iPhone will return to its "out of the box" state and you will need to set it up again. If you still have a backup copy, there should be no problems at all.

2 - Lock iPhone by mobile operator

Now consider the situation when the iPhone is locked to a specific mobile operator. Typically, such phones enter our market through gray schemes from America or Europe. In civilized countries, most of the population has long been using mobile services on a contract basis. Those. paying a monthly amount, the client receives a certain tariff package. When concluding a contract, the client is usually offered a mobile phone to choose from. It can be free or for a nominal fee. At the same time, such phones are provided locked under a specific operator. Thus, conditionally cheap / free iPhones locked under AT&T or Verizon appear in the hands of people, which then enter our market.

The problem is that such iPhones can only be unlocked by calling the support service of the mobile operator. No letters to the operator's e-mail address will go through, you don't have to try. If you still decide to call the operator and request unlocking the iPhone, you will be asked for the personal account of the executed contract and whether you are the owner of this account. If your answer to both questions is no, they won't be able to help you. The thing is that it is allowed to remove the lock from the iPhone only after the expiration of the contract (usually 2 years).

How to unlock iPhone in such a situation? The answer is no! Unlocking such devices is almost impossible. But there is a solution that will help bypass this lock and allow you to use your iPhone with any SIM card. This solution is called Turbo SIM, and is an adapter (a thin board the size of a nano sim), which you must put into the phone's sim tray along with the sim card itself. TurboSIM is currently available from three major manufacturers: Jevey, R-Sim and Heicard. Detailed information on setting up TurboSIM can be found on this site.

3 - How to unlock iPhone with iCloud Activation Lock activated?

Another common type of lock that could happen to your iPhone is iCloud Activation Lock. The most common reason that leads to this type of blocking is entering someone else's Apple ID data into Settings - iCloud your iPhone. If you knew how many comments people leave under my articles complaining that some strangers (scammers) fraudulently blocked their phones by activating Lost Mode. Well, what can you do, as my father says - “ Everyone is the blacksmith of his own happiness". Don't trust every person you meet on the internet...

On the other hand, the iPhone may have locked up after updating/restoring the iOS firmware. This usually happens when the iPhone was not properly unlinked from the previous owner's Apple ID account.

There can be more than a few varieties of iCloud Activation Lock manifestation, so one article cannot fit them all. In any case, there are not many ways to unlock an iPhone. Basically, all methods come down to talking with Apple support, but there are other steps that you can do yourself to unlock your iPhone.

Depending on your situation, read the articles at the link below:

In this article, I have tried to include three different reasons that can lead to iPhone being blocked. They are not related to each other in any way and the actions in each case should be correspondingly different. If you did not find the answer to your question, write in the comments what exactly brought you to this page. In one of the following articles, I will tell you in more detail how to unlock the iPhone for use with any GSM operator and what nuances may arise when using Turbo SIM.
